Yellow Twig Dogwood
Common Juniper

Yellow Twig Dogwood is a small deciduous shrub with attractive, bright yellow bark.

It features delicate white, star-shaped flowers and white fruit. It is often used as a screen, and its wide-spreading roots help stabilize areas experiencing soil erosion.

Yellow Twig Dogwood complements Red Osier Dogwood, and it is a great filler to add winter color to shrub and flower gardens.

Common Juniper is a small, coniferous shrub with scale-like needles upon maturity. Typically growing to 3 or 4 feet in height, this variety will not spread like Creeping Juniper.

This hardy evergreen is commonly used by landscapers to provide texture and ground cover beneath larger trees or in beds around the foundations of buildings.

It is wide spreading and produces small, berry-like cones that is a great food source for wildlife. These cones grow in green and change to glaucous to black as they ripen.

The Common Juniper has even been used to make the popular alcoholic beverage, gin.
