Shepherdia canadensis

Lonicera caerulea Boreal Beast

Canadian Buffaloberry
Boreal Beast Haskap (Honeyberry)

Canadian Buffalo Berry is a native deciduous shrub found throughout North America. This hardy, medium-sized shrub will tolerate poor soil conditions and produces attractive, edible–though very bitter–red fruit.

Boreal Beast is a haskap cultivar designed to be planted with other "Boreal" cultivars.

Haskaps have a taste that is a cross between raspberry and blueberry. The berries can be used for eating fresh, baking, jams and jellies, freezing. Haskaps are high in vitamins, fibre, and anti-oxidants.

Boreal Beast is a late pollinating variety. Pair with other late pollinators to have a higher yield.
Boreal Beast is a great companion variety for the Boreal Beauty Haskap.
