Common Wild Rose vs Aronia BerryRosa woodsii Aronia melanocarpa NOT AVAILABLE THIS SEASON
Common Wild Rose produces attractive pink roses and edible bright red rosehips. This tough, native shrub is a beautiful, low-maintenance addition to any garden. Common Wild Rose is very similar to Alberta (Prickly) Wild Rose but with fewer thorns.
Aronia Berry is native to Eastern Canada and the Eastern United States. This branching shrub forms well rooted clumps that can spread. Flowers are usually white (or pink) and they produce black fruit that some people find too astringent, hence they are also known as Black Chokeberry. People who like the taste and not the astringent tannins often blend the berries or juice in with other things. COMMON WILD ROSE QUICK FACTSARONIA BERRY QUICK FACTS
