Silver Buffalo Berry vs Peachleaf WillowShepherdia argentea Salix amygdaloides SOLD OUT
Silver Buffalo Berry is a cold hardy, ornamental shrub that is commonly used in the first row of shelterbelts instead of caragana or lilac. It features subtle yellow flowers, smooth grey bark, and red fruit. On occasion orange fruit is produced and rarely a yellow fruit. Please note: we regularly collect the rare yellow and orange fruit to use for our seed source.
The Peachleaf Willow is often a multi-stemmed willow that generally grows into a tall shrub. This versatile and useful small tree is often seen in riparian zones and erosion control projects. Wildlife rely on the twigs, foliage and bark for food. SILVER BUFFALO BERRY QUICK FACTSPEACHLEAF WILLOW QUICK FACTS
