Silver Buffalo Berry vs Patriot BlueberryShepherdia argentea Vaccinium x Patriot
Silver Buffalo Berry is a cold hardy, ornamental shrub that is commonly used in the first row of shelterbelts instead of caragana or lilac. It features subtle yellow flowers, smooth grey bark, and red fruit. On occasion orange fruit is produced and rarely a yellow fruit. Please note: we regularly collect the rare yellow and orange fruit to use for our seed source. The Patriot Blueberry offers the largest fruit of all the early season blueberries and thrives in an acidic soil with a low pH. With fruit that can easily grow to the size of a quarter, you'll be known for having the largest blueberries for miles. The Patriot Blueberry is ideal for fresh eating, baking, and preserving. Cold hardy and self-pollinating, the Patriot Blueberry is also resistant to root rot. SILVER BUFFALO BERRY QUICK FACTSPATRIOT BLUEBERRY QUICK FACTS
