Silver Buffalo Berry vs Royal Purple SmokebushShepherdia argentea Cotinus coggygria Royal Purple NOT AVAILABLE THIS SEASON
Silver Buffalo Berry is a cold hardy, ornamental shrub that is commonly used in the first row of shelterbelts instead of caragana or lilac. It features subtle yellow flowers, smooth grey bark, and red fruit. On occasion orange fruit is produced and rarely a yellow fruit. Please note: we regularly collect the rare yellow and orange fruit to use for our seed source.
Royal Purple Smokebush is an attractive and dramatic shrub. Mid-summer you'll notice feathery, purple-pink puffs of airy seed clusters that give the illusion of smoke. The contrast of these seed clusters against deep purple-red foliage will make Royal Purple Smokebush your new favorite shrub. SILVER BUFFALO BERRY QUICK FACTSROYAL PURPLE SMOKEBUSH QUICK FACTS
