Common Blueberry vs Northblue BlueberryVaccinium myrtilloides Vaccinium x Northblue
Common Blueberry isn't as large, pretty, or high yielding as the other varieties we carry. But Common Blueberry is our only blueberry that will survive in plant hardiness zones 1A to 2B. So if you happen to live in one of these zones, this is the variety for you.
Northblue Blueberry produces the best tasting of the half-high blueberries we carry. It's a cross between a highbush and a lowbush variety, which makes it suitable for smaller yards. For its size, Northblue Blueberry produces abundant quantities of large, firm berries. They are sweet and juicy. COMMON BLUEBERRY QUICK FACTSNORTHBLUE BLUEBERRY QUICK FACTS
