Tundra Haskap vs Boreal Blizzard HaskapLonicera caerulea Tundra Lonicera caerulea Boreal Blizzard Tundra Haskap is a hardy deciduous shrub. Of all the varieties, Tundra has the firmest fruit, making it great for commercial production. Tundra, like the Borealis Haskap, does not self-pollinate well. We recommend another variety, such as Honeybee or Berry Blue Honeyberry, be planted at a minimum 1:8 ratio with it to boost fruit production.
Boreal Blizzard Haskap has the largest and heaviest berries of any haskap cultivar we offer. Both the plant itself and its berries are robust, making mechanical harvesting more effective. The larger berries make them ideal for sale without processing, as larger berries usually sell for more. TUNDRA HASKAP QUICK FACTSBOREAL BLIZZARD HASKAP QUICK FACTS
