Valentine Cherry

Valentine Cherry is a hardy deciduous shrub and hybrid variety of the University of Saskatchewan Sour Cherry released in the Romance Series of dwarf sour cherries in 2004. This medium-sized self-pollinator produces tart, bright red fruits in large clusters in late summer that are perfect for jams, pies and jellies. Valentine Cherry is ideal as a landscape or orchard tree.

Due to declining demand, 2015 was the final year we grew Valentine Cherry.

Norkent Apple produces fruit that is desirable for fresh eating. The apples most closely resemble Golden Delicious in appearance and taste. Our stock is grafted onto V3 or Siberian Crab rootstock for better planting. If you want a great prairie hardy apple for eating, cooking, juicing or making cider, this is the variety for you.

Although the height of this tree is listed as 20ft, it can grow to just 6ft on dwarfing rootstock like V3.
