Valentine Cherry vs Purple Leaf Sand CherryPrunus x kerrasis Valentine Prunus x cistena SOLD OUT ONLY AVAILABLE BY CONTRACT GROW Valentine Cherry is a hardy deciduous shrub and hybrid variety of the University of Saskatchewan Sour Cherry released in the Romance Series of dwarf sour cherries in 2004. This medium-sized self-pollinator produces tart, bright red fruits in large clusters in late summer that are perfect for jams, pies and jellies. Valentine Cherry is ideal as a landscape or orchard tree.
Purple Leaf Sand Cherry provides bright reddish-purple leaves that turn bronze-green in the fall. In the spring, tiny flowers with a pinkish white hue bloom. The flowers are small, but the impact comes from the shrub blossoming all at once. VALENTINE CHERRY QUICK FACTSPURPLE LEAF SAND CHERRY QUICK FACTS
