Boreal Beauty is a haskap variety with several distinct features. It ripens a month later in the year than other haskaps. It produces large berries that are well suited to mechanical harvesting. It also has strong branches to hold up heavy berries.
As part of the "Boreal" series from the University of Saskatchewan, this variety pairs well with other Boreals. The "Beauty" and "Beast" varieties make an excellent combination for assisting pollination.
A staff favourite, the Boreal Beauty is one of the first larger berried varieties set to completely change the Haskap industry. This variety is an excellent choice for U-picks and commercial harvester type orchards.
Greenhouse grown container seedlings transplanted into our bareroot fields for a second growing season. These trees are better branched and more robust than container stock.
