Siberian Elm vs Black WalnutUlmus pumila Juglans nigra ONLY AVAILABLE BY CONTRACT GROW SOLD OUT
Siberian Elm is a small to medium-sized deciduous tree. It has a similar form to American Elm, but smaller, with a more pyramidal habit and shorter lifespan. It is also more resistant to Dutch Elm disease and is very salt tolerant.
The Black Walnut is a slow growing, large, straight-stemmed tree with an open crown. It produces dense, very hard, edible nuts. Note: Although self-pollinating, planting two trees significantly improves nut production. SIBERIAN ELM QUICK FACTSBLACK WALNUT QUICK FACTS
