Red Currant vs Tundra HaskapRibes rubrum Lonicera caerulea Tundra NOT AVAILABLE THIS SEASON (new stock expected: fall of 2021)
Red Currant is a deciduous shrub native to western Europe. It features five-lobed, maple-like leaves, and bright red berries that can be used in jams, sauces, and fresh eating. Tundra Haskap is a hardy deciduous shrub. Of all the varieties, Tundra has the firmest fruit, making it great for commercial production. Tundra, like the Borealis Haskap, does not self-pollinate well. We recommend another variety, such as Honeybee or Berry Blue Honeyberry, be planted at a minimum 1:8 ratio with it to boost fruit production. RED CURRANT QUICK FACTSTUNDRA HASKAP QUICK FACTS
