Unless you're experienced with using these fertilizers with trees and shrubs it can be very easy to use them incorrectly, especially by over-application, which can kill your newly planted trees. We do encourage you to use bonemeal as a soil ammendment if you want to promote faster root development in your trees. You can buy bonemeal at places like Home Depot and Canadian Tire.
