Can I use your trees for reclamation on public land?

show all planting questions

We run a reclamation division which deals specifically with these issues and we would be pleased to help you select the correct stock for your project. Please call us at 1-844-873-3700 for assistance.

Reclamation of public land is governed by a strict set of regulations. In Alberta these regulations require that the seed used to grow the reclamation stock must come from the seed zone into which the seedling will be planted. While we do keep track of the seed zones from which our stock originates, it is unlikely that our commercial species stock (spruce and pine) will match the seed zone you are planting into due to the sheer number of seed zones in Alberta.

Non-commercial species are not regulated and can be purchased on our website and planted on public land.
