Sandbar willow is native to sandbars and riparian areas throughout our region. It is a mid-sized willow with a multi-stemmed shrub form and long, narrow lanceolate grey-green slightly pubescent leaves. It readily suckers. It can be planted in containers, where it's grassy foliage narrow stems give it a bamboo-like appearance. Also known as Narrowleaf Willow and Coyote Willow.
