Ben Tirran Black Currant - 1 Year Old
Ben Tirran is an introduction from the Mylnefield Research Station in Scotland. It is a high yielding variety, likely due to it flowering later than other varieties which reduces damage by late frost. With it being late to flower it is also later to produce. Its fruit is suitable for jams, juicing, commercial u-picks and home gardens. Berries are medium sized.
