Juliet Cherry

Thiessen Saskatoon is a deciduous shrub that produces delicious edible fruit. Thiessen saskatoons are one of the most productive saskatoons great in pies, preserves or eating fresh. However, they are most popular with u-pick operations because their height gets to about 16ft tall which is too tall for most mechanical harvesting equipment.

Juliet Cherry is a hardy deciduous shrub and hybrid variety of the University of Saskatchewan Sour Cherry released in the Romance Series of dwarf sour cherries in 2004. It blooms earlier than the other Romance varieties, and produces highly desirable, delicious dark red fruit for production. Juliet Cherry is ideal as a landscape or accent tree.
